I really enjoyed the stories- even though I have to admit the collage setting leaves me hot and cold, depending on my mood. A matter of taste/mood, not criticism.
The real critique here is the audio quality. I don‘t regret hearing the books or buying the box set- but I realize that I might be more forgiving then most when it comes to these points. I think we as recipients, don‘t have insight in budget and production. That being said, there are numerous mistakes in editing and sound bites that distract from the story. Some of the narrators are a league of their own (Megan Wicks) and some might need a little more experience- though I wouldn’t write any of them off, they all brought a compassionate and unique aspect to the characters.
