What's that saying? When life hands you lemons...
What if I don't want to make lemonade? What if I want to pummel them into non-existence? Anything is better than admitting how desperately I want a taste of that sweet lemonade.
That's exactly how I felt when my college assignment threw me in the direction of Miller Cain.
My body screams for him while my brain warns me to run for the hills.
He's the captain of the ice hockey team with a cocky reputation. He's a sweet talker and the bad boy promising me the ride of my life.
Miller Cain is bad for my health.
I just need to last one year without falling into his bed.
Should be easy, right?
Miller
She came crashing into my world like a tornado.
Sexy as hell, an absolute firecracker with deadly green eyes.
I want her. In fact, I need her, and I'll do whatever it takes to make her mine.
Not Your Pucking Girl is a new adult college sports romance with a HEA. Intended for mature listeners.

The story is a dual POV, steamy hockey romance with plenty of banter. Serious themes are introduced, but they don’t seem to leave a real impact on the characters. It almost creates a sense of cognitive dissonance — why bring in such heavy drama and trauma if the story isn’t going to explore them in any meaningful way?
The same happens with the storyline of the best friend: it feels almost like a second main couple, but the shift from friends-with-benefits to a real relationship isn’t explained or developed.
I enjoyed parts of it, but I’m not sure yet if I’ll continue with the rest of the series. That being said, It is a good listen if you want a low-angst romance with some serious curveballs lightly written — fun, flirty, and a bit steamy, but not deeply emotional.
Finished it, enjoyable at times, but the emotional impact fell flat

but in this book the MC is only barely relatable and doesn't seem very realistic.
Far worse was her love interest, though. He just keeps behaving and thinking in that typical mysogonistic, objectifying cave man way.
I just can't.
Constantly calling the MCs nether regions cun* is by far the most obvious behavior, but the fact alone that he said stuff like
"All the other girls I dated before, weren't WORTH a date. They were just pieces of ass."
Down talking other girls to presumably measure the MCs worth higher.
Like women are things or toys that are being kept, and aren't 'worth' being treated like human beings, unless a man deems them worthy. Disgusting. And he keeps behaving that way.
No thank you, DNF half way in.
intolerable underlying mysogonistic views
