Ich habe schon einige Bücher von Anne Patchett gehört, und bin immer wieder begeistert. Schon in diesem Debüt Roman beschreibt sie Menschen, Orte, und Situationen so lebendig und plastisch, dass man nicht mehr aufhören kann, zu hören. werde das Hörbuch definitiv noch mehrmals anhören, und dabei immer wieder Neues entdecken. Wahrscheinlich eher für Frauen geeignet, da es viel um die Frage geht, was eine gute Mutter ist. Es ist spannend, vor allem aber psychologisch unglaublich vielschichtig und deswegen definitiv etwas besonderes.

Ann Patchett ist eine geniale Erzählerin
