Mir hat sowohl die Geschichte als auch die Lesung hervorragend gefallen. Gigi Bermingham liest mit soviel Engagement und Stimmvielfalt, dass dieses Hörbuch eines der sehr wenigen ist, die ich mir mehrfach mit Genuss anhören kann.

Nothing against the voice actress' skills, BUT, in this Audiobook she is so different from the VA before, She is voicing the male characters so high-pitched. She obviously didn't listen to the previous Audio-Books, because she pronounces names different, which is really annoying me. She for example says "Pissss-kari".
The music between chapters is annoying, too and pulls me out of the story. That wasn't there before as well.

The Story is thrilling as ever, Rachel and her fellows stumble into a new adventure, just as stunnging and thrilling as the previous ones. Yet something is wrong...
Unfurtunately a new speaker is introduced.
Don't get me wrong, Gigi is a good speaker, but the new pronounciation of names and items, as well as completely changed voice characters simply spoils the feeling.
The story is one of the best, but the irritation from the new reader prevents the full enwrapment into the story.

Neue Erzählstimme, die zwar professionell und in einer anderen Produktion bestimmt gut ist…aber die Charaktere so anders darstellt, dass es sich nicht mehr um die gleichen Personen zu handeln scheint.

Zum Glück geht es im nächsten Band mit der alten Stimme weiter. Diesen hier hätte ich mir lieber sparen sollen.
