Rule one: Don't look at the demon.

When I arrived at my uncle's house, I expected my relatives to be like me - outcast sorcerers who don't practice magic. I was right about the sorcery, but wrong about everything else. 

Rule two: Don't listen to the demon.

My uncle chose a far deadlier power. He calls creatures of darkness into our world, binds them into service contracts, and sells them to the highest bidder. And I'm supposed to act like I don't know how illegal and dangerous it is. 

Rule three: Don't talk to the demon.

All I had to do was keep my nose out of it. Pretend I didn't find the summoning circle in the basement. Pretend I didn't notice the shadowy being trapped inside it. Pretend I didn't break the rules. But I did, and now it's too late.

Die Demonized Reihe ist meiner Meinung nach die beste im gesamten Guild Codex Universum, obwohl ich auch die anderen sehr empfehlen kann. Aber Robin und Zylas‘ gemeinsame Entwicklung, ihre Abenteuer und Zylas trockene Art sind einfach großartig.
Dieser Dämon ist kein pseudo-böser Bad Boy mit dem ach so weichen Herz, sondern ein streng vegetarischer, nachvollziehbar gefährlicher und eiskalt kalkulierter Dämon, der nach zu viel Zucker ins Koma fällt. Einen besseren habe ich noch nie gesehen.
Die Sprecherin macht einen wirklich guten Job und sie schafft es tatsächlich jeden der weiblichen Hauptcharaktere in ihren eigenen Büchern anders zu lesen.

I finished this in one day. It was so good i couldn't stop to listen. The story is captivating and the characters work really well together. They are as unsure and as faulty as real people are, which made me connect to them very well. I loved every second of this book and can't wait for the rest of the series.

I don't know if it's my gears fault but there were some words missing and I think at one point even a whole sentence.
But I really like the story and will buy the books.

I totally loved the cute, nerdy Robin as main character. Together with her sassily sarcastic demon partner she brought this story to live. Seriously one of the best books I’ve read/ audiobooks I listened in month! Can’t wait for part 2.
