The world building is solid, I really liked the concept of daemon being the basis of devil and angel lore, and how earths reality creates a human version of themselves makes for so many loaded scenes whenever they shade under emotional duress! Also the relationship is actually healthy?? She’s weaker than Ash and Lyer, them being powerful Daemons, but they don’t disrespect her. She is a full fledged member of their team, and man can she hold her own! The fighting scenes are really freaking awesome! I’ve reread the story like three times by now.

Absolutely love it!
