I loved the first book, but this one kicked it up a notch!
Malini is finally with her allies and waging a war against her brother for the throne. At the same time, Priya and Buhmika, who are now Tempele Elder, are trying to rebuild Ahiranya after the rebellion.
The story is again told from the perspective of several characters, but this time much less than in the first book. The focus is clearly on Priya and Malini.
Their relationship develops further when Malini asks for support from Ahiranya.

An incredible sequel. It has me hooked

This book, this series as a whole is a gripping story of love, war, hopes and sorrows. It will sweep you under in its current and break your heart for the character of this book.
I love this series and I am excited for more as well as dreading it, just to be clear I cried a plenty.

Wonderfully written, beautifully narrated. A must read.
