Die Geschichte hat sich langsam aufgebaut, zunächst schien alles klar, dann entwickelte sich aber ein richtig guter, überraschender Plot und das Ende habe ich so überhaupt nicht erwartet – ich habe mich wunderbar unterhalten gefühlt!
Die Sprecher haben mir auch gut gefallen.

Ich habe das Hörbuch gerade eben fertig gehört und bin noch ein bisschen sprachlos. Fesselnd geschrieben, wubderbare Charaktere, schöne Freundschaften, unerwartete Wendungen. Ein absolut wunderbares Buch!! 💕❤️

This is, in my opinion, the best O'Leary yet (though I did like The Roadtrip a lot). Fantastic job. Complex story, actual surprises along the way, characters with nuanced personalities, convincing mix of the sad and happy parts of life. Keeps you on your toes till the end. Also: very well read! I loved it.

Such a moving audiobook

I loved "The No-Show'! The story was captivating from start to finish! At first I had this obvious idea in my head of what the book would be about but then I was so surprised when everything turned out differently and everything made sense! I loved the characters as well (and also the performance of the speakers), so much more interesting than all these shallow, typical romance novel characters you get in other books. If you're only looking for steamy love scenes this is not for you, but if you enjoy a touching story about life and love that is exceptionally well written and cleverly mapped out I totally recommend this audiobook!

Captivating and very clever storytelling

Eigentlich hab ich oft das Gefühl, sehr schnell Muster zu erkennen und das Ende einer Geschichte antizipieren zu können… das ist mir hier erst sehr spät gelungen, weil eben wie im echten Leben nicht alles auf DIE eine Lösung hinauszulaufen schien.
Die Charaktere sind glaubhaft und die Geschichte ist clever erzählt. Die Leserinnen machen ihren Job außerdem echt super.

The Flatshare wird wohl dennoch mein Lieblingsroman der Autorin bleiben, aber das hier ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert.

Unvorhersehbar und dennoch nicht zu konstruiert

Eine wunderbare Geschichte über die Facetten der Liebe. lustig, motivierend und traurig zugleich. Das Ende überrascht sehr. Toll, wenn auch anders als The Flat Share, eine gelungene Geschichte!!! 5 Sterne.
