Inhalt interessant und sicher lesenswert. Sprecher grauenvoll. Viel zu schnell und ohne Variation in der Stimme. Ein monotones Herunterlesen. Besser zur Printversion greifen.

The author clearly doesn't fully understand the 'Born To Run' movement at all and is foolishly dismissive of regular long-distance running. His statements show an assumption that it means solely competitive running, as opposed to the steady and sustainable running behaviours of the Rarámuri (Tarahumara) and others like them, whose bodies are accustomed to such practices. We were indeed "born to run" and the dismissal of this was a red flag for me. If he's wrong about this, what else has he misunderstood?

The other red flag for me, was the avoidance of legumes. Actually, legumes are very beneficial when prepared adequately and eaten cooked. The healthiest populations are often those whose diet contains legumes as a staple.

I do believe that we are better off if we follow the practices for which our evolutionary adaptations have been honed. I just don't think that excludes long-distance running.
