I agree with every criticism that the story is quite unrealistic, however, this is what fiction is all about. To my mind this is an incredibly good book, the story is gripping, tons of wrong leads make one guess almost up to the end. At one stage I had a suspicion what could be behind this, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the book. I think this is very good writing offering an interesting insight in the mind of a barrister and in the minds of various sociopaths…. On top, superbly read! Highly recommend this, in particular for those with patience.

Gripping story, very good book!

Basically starting off an incredibly good story. Very well written. But why dragging it out? And why having a protagonist who seems to be too stupid to live up to the facts she keeps talking about? She knows a killer stalks her. But, hey, why not walk around alone all the time? Why not go to parties and bring home strangers to stay the night?
Conversations between the victim, the perpetrator and a policeman where two of the three talk and act like children. Getting worse by the page.
Sorry, but I'm just not buying it.
Fabulous narrator, though.

just too much
