Über diesen Titel

A tale of danger, abduction and romance.

Shortly after the Netherfield ball, Elizabeth Bennet begins a journey to London with her travelling companions, Mr. Bingley’s sisters and the proud, arrogant Mr. Darcy. Suddenly, their carriage is abruptly stopped, and Elizabeth hears the menacing cry, “Stand and deliver!”

The leader of a band of highwaymen, Nate Morgan, a handsome, masked rogue, plans to seize Elizabeth for his amusement, but Darcy steps forward and offers himself as a hostage in her place. When his proposal fails to secure Elizabeth’s release, Darcy makes a shocking declaration? Elizabeth is his wife!

At a time when a woman’s future could be ruined by the slightest hint of scandal, Elizabeth’s reputation will depend not only upon the actions of a hero but a villain as well.

Filled with excitement, daring and passion, The Journey follows Jane Austen’s beloved characters from Pride and Prejudice as they embark on a fateful journey that changes their lives forever.

One of the badest characterisations of Elisabeth, Am very disappointed! Didn’t listen til the end. In this version E‘s unsensible, bitchy, stupid, selfimportant and seems to have a very big problem to keep her standards.
Meaning there are non.

Her hypocrisy was the worst of it.

The story might have worked, but the timeline was very bad.
Her to say such things to D, after he proposed in the context ruined the story otterly. And shows what a bad Character is pained here, well amoung many other scenes. Far too many!
Well the story wasn’t good in the first place.
I listened to a line of variations of P&P and can only remember one story that was as bad.
But this one gets the crown.
I’m questioning the intelligence of this version of “Elisabeth” and am truly convinced that she is insane.
She is unable to stop being bitchy for long enough to think.

To throw special scenes of the original in in the most unfitting moments doesn’t make it a P&P story of the Characterisation of the Characters is unrecognisable!!!
This book will go back.

At half time I gave up.
