Well, it is Beauty and the Beast with a early 1900s twist and a somewhat more emancipated Belle in it. I love most of Mercedes Lackey's interpretations of Fairy Tales, even if you have a strong idea how they will proceed and end. Still, if you have a Long drive ahead of you, this might be the right thing, fluffy, light and fun.
