Spoiler!!! The story begins promising but takes a turn for the worse. There are some serious flaws in the logic of the later books, To the point were you ask yourself how they can kill 500 dragons with 120 bullets that should be kind of oblivious even if your not good at math. And how can a dragon races go extinct in one fight. They choose to go there. Do you seriously think they bring there kids to the fight? And story is kind of predictable which makes it a little slow.

I really liked to listen to all 5 audio books. Speaker has nice voice and speaks understandable (I am from germany). Voice is different for most Charakters and often you know from voice who is speaking, very well done! Only Rowans voice has an annoying tone to me.

Story is great for dragon lovers!
Some parts however were a little bit predictable for me (who is killing the dragons and what happened to Skye and Rowan). But still, loved it.

I bought other audio books of Dragons Kings Series at book-funnel. Speaker there has a somehow monotone voice, no difference between Charakters speaking... it's more difficult for me to focus on the story, as i have to try to understand, who is talking to whom and to distinguish the characters.

I loved the story and the setting in todays world
But some things make no sense, like after one of the kids go missing and there is talk of his death
After a few lines about his parents planning the funeral
they are not mentioned again till the end…. There is a little bit missing to the story line how they reunite again

But other then that, nice listening to

The Angela Rysk has a nice voice to listen to. But some of the voices she gives the characters don’t match, a 18 yo sound like an annoying 4 yo….
