ich hatte lange überlegt, welchen Sprecher ich wählen sollte, da bei dieser Version keine Übersicht über die einzelnen Titel anhängt. Zum Glück gibt es Hörproben. Für mich war es definitiv die richtige Wahl. Ich finde den Sprecher hervorragend!
Ideal wäre noch eine Version, die von den Kapitel mit den tatsächlichen Geschichten übereinstimmt. Dann könnte man komfortabel einzelne Titel nachhören.

As good as and not as pretentious and marred by narcissism as the one by another British actor (wink wink) on here. 100% enjoyable even though you have to ignore the colonial attitude and occasional racism typical for the Victorian era, if you can’t (and admittedly it’s difficult) don’t bother,

Best Sherlock Holmes Version ever

Dies ist für mich die beste Lesung von "Sherlock Holmes", die ich bisher gefunden habe:

Erstens liegen alle Kurzgeschichten und Romane in einer Ausgabe zu einem sensationellen Preis vor.

Zweitens sind die Geschichten nicht durch Kürzungen verunstaltet.

Drittens ist Simon Vance ein begnadeter Sprecher, der allen Figuren eine eigene Stimme und Sprachmelodie verleiht, so dass man wirklich in die Geschichte eintauchen kann.

Vances Holmes war schon in den "Improbable Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" "mein" Holmes, d.h. genauso muss Holmes für mich klingen. Jetzt in dieser Ausgabe meinen Holmes in den echten Holmesgeschichte zu finden ist einfach nur klasse.

Die volle Punktzahl in allen Bereichen hat dieses Hörbuch mehr als verdient.
