wow, this is gloomy and heavy stuff.
I had to pause frequently- nonetheless I was sucked in till the very end.

Ich bereue es nie, ein Hörbuch von John Grisham gekauft zu haben. Auch 'The Chamber' überzeugt mich vollkommen. Die Story ist unheimlich interessant und spannend. Der Sprecher spielt die verschiedenen Rollen mehr, als das er sie nur liest.
Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich hatte persönlich den Eindruck nach seinen Erfolgsthrillern wollte sich Herr Grisham etwas sozial engagieren, was ihm jedoch nicht wirklich gelungen ist! Für mich doch etwas stark auf die Tränendrüse gepresst und damit ein halber Schuss in den Ofen. Leider auch noch langatmig und von der Handlung her betrachtet recht stockend.
