The story is very interesting and since a was hearing it in stages, I always looked forward to continue listening to it.
but
the last twist in the end, is very questionable and in my opinion a storyhole.

The reader is very understandable und very multifaceted concerning the characters...
but
almost every other sentence he emphasis the end of the sentence in a certain way, which got on my nerves after a third of the book.

Beginning was slow and brutal. Middle was great. Ending not in line with the characters. That ruined it for me.

Großartige Story vom Anfang bis zum Ende, spannend, unterhaltsam mit sympathischen Charakteren. Der Sprecher ist brillant. Den Südstaatenakzent hätte ich nicht unbedingt gebraucht, dennoch ein Genuss. Klare Empfehlung!
