5 ⭐️ for Chris Chambers as always.
I would have DNFed if it wasn’t for him.

As others have said, the story starts with heavy Non-con and it’s really bad.

I did like the rest of the story, but couldn’t get over the beginning.

And I still don’t understand why this and the one before are parte of the Armitage series, besides being in the same universe, there’s no connection at all.

The least responsible act would be to read a disclaimer or trigger warning at the beginning of the book.

I dropped the book after an hour listening to coercion and blackmailing s*.
It doesn’t matter if the main character is brat, ex-rich and arrogant. No body should be coerced to have s* to pay their debt.
Romanticising this kind of behaviour in the name of love that supposedly will fallow because the body is reacting to physical contact is wrong in so many level.
I regret that I paid for this book and after one hour listening, I expected the mc to kill himself at least in 3 situations. That’s wrong and mentally challenging for listeners.
