Das erste Hörbuch in der X-Wing Reihe schafft es wunderbar die Charaktere vorzustellen und erste Handlungen unterzubringen.

Die Einbindung bekannter Charaktere wie Admiral Akbar oder Wedge Antilles ist ebenfalls gut gelungen.

Einzige Kritikpunkte sind für mich das es keine ungekürzte Version gibt sowie das der Sprecher leider nicht an den der Thrawn Trilogie rankommt. Dort war z.b Admiral Akbar deutlich besser gesprochen, aber mit der Zeit gewöhnt man sich dran.

Sprecher ist gut. Die Ursprungsgeschichte sowieso. Leider wurde die Geschichte in der vorliegenden Fassung nahezu grotesk stümperisch zusammengekürzt. Man lernt die Charaktere nicht kennen, der Aufbau der Handlung ist kaum nachvollziehbar. Insgesamt äußerst enttäuschend, da ich die Romane damals sehr spannend gefunden habe.
