Spiral Dynamics is maybe the most important personal and cultural developmental theory of this century. It has both a very high accuracy in explaining current conflicts as well as predicting future developments and ways to solve the current problems by evolving up to second-tier thinking and finding solutions that fit every value system's needs.
The book is read by the author himself and is very dense. A lot of the concepts mentioned need to be understood through further research.
Nonetheless I consider it of utmost importance for everybody who seeks to improve the world without falling into traps by not understanding the existence and progression of value systems.
