Mistborn: Secret History is a companion story to the original Mistborn trilogy.

As such, it contains HUGE SPOILERS for the books Mistborn (The Final Empire), The Well of Ascension, and The Hero of Ages. It also contains very minor spoilers for the book The Bands of Mourning.

Mistborn: Secret History builds upon the characterization, events, and worldbuilding of the original trilogy. Reading it without that background will be a confusing process at best.

In short, this isn't the place to start your journey into Mistborn (though if you have read the trilogy - but it has been a while - you should be just fine, so long as you remember the characters and the general plot of the books).

Saying anything more here risks revealing too much. Even knowledge of this story's existence is, in a way, a spoiler...

I just finished the secrets book. With that Addition i can say. Mistborn is one of the best fantasystorys i ever witnissed.

Ich war schon ein großer Fan der Originalreihe und ein wenig traurig, dass Celsir so früh gestorben ist. Die Erlebnisse hier nocheinmal aus seiner Sicht zu erfahren und zugleich mehr Hintergrundwissen zum Kosmeer zu erhalten war einfach spitze.
Für alle deren Englisch nicht so gut ist, kann ich sagen, dass der Sprecher klar und verständlich spricht.

Usually love the narrator, but what the heck happened to Spook there in the end? He sounded like a weak, frightened child. Also, where did that accent come from? That was never the accent he had and he had gotten rid of his street accent last we knew. He was also way more assertive, sure of himself and hardened at the end of the first Mistborn Trilogy. I hated that!

Eine fantastische Kurzgeschichte, aber sie ist auch Teil von "Arcanum Unbounded: The Cosmere Collection", also lohnt die Sammlung einfach mehr.
