I'm not sure of the age of one of the love interests, but it feels implied that he's older, and he feels really controlling over Amber, how he constantly tries to get her away feom the other loveinterest, badmouths him etc, really manipulative, and just overall a very toxic feel.
Overall not a bad story, but the romance is... eh
