Something new in the plethora of werwolfe stories, good plot twists, a bit of steamy chemistry and a strong heroin.
The female narrator is also quite good, the male has a sexy voice, but is not very good at giving the individual characters their own voice. I am also not a fan of switching the narrator for the direct speech of a male characters (when it‘s in otherwise told from the female POV), it’s somewhat interrupting the flow.

The beginning was great! Fast and filled with action, And starting from chapter 15 it became slow and repetitive, shame as the story seamed interesting and MC has a funny and strong character, i skipped a few chapters and it felt like time was standing still on that part of the book.
If you enjoy a lot of descriptions and a slow „read“ that‘s the book for you.

Too slow for my taste

The title is pretty much the story, at least to the point I got before I was fed up with the whole thing. Nobody acts logically, the pack ppl fluctuate between killing, torturing or ejecting the protagonist for no apparant reason. The protagonist is suicidal in one moment but fears death in the next so much that it shuts down her brain, she wants to get away from the pack but fights against an easy way out, she is fearful of the shadow beast even though it didn't do anything to earn that fear except when she was behaving like a braindead toddler and trying to fight it to get back to the pack that is hellbent on torturing her.

And then comes the 2nd problem. This book reads like a diary of beaten housewife, why in hell would anybody want to read this, even if we expect that the protagonist finds love at the end, all the ppl who are presented as love candidates in the story don't deserve love and from what I've heard of this book until now I highly doubt they get their just punishment.
