The book is slow paced, interesting enough for me to keep going. There is definitely more gripping series from JLA this just happens not be one of them, likeable all the same.
The World building is beginner friendly and not complicated, the series is definitely not for advanced fantasy readers. I was in a Funk not knowing what series to start next so this was a nice palette cleanse.
The concept of gargoyles and angels were new to me and the protagonist Trinity’s is readable (hearable) and likable character.
I thoroughly enjoyed Lauren Fortgangs interpretation, she did a great job! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
