Sadly, the story is just bad. The drama feels forced and unrealistic, the characters change their views and motivations for no reason within minutes, the romance between Cass and Penelope is just exhausting and boring and the murder plot is just ... bad. It is not a mystery, it is not a witted it is just, disappointing. The characters are not smart in solving it, neither do they make smart or at least realistic decisions. I would really not recommend reading or listening to Penelopes constantly repeating the things that just happend.

On a more positive side: The book has its fun scenes and interesting ideas - they are just drowned in the annoying majority of the plot.

The voice actress did make a good job though, it was nice listening to her. She made listening to the audio book manageable.

Disappointing and repetitive

Die Geschichte wäre auch in 2 Stunden erzählt gewesen. Ich hätte mir ein bisschen mehr Spannung erwartet! Und dass Penelope Cass verdächtigt? Sie war doch mit ihm zusammen. Passte zeilich leider null in die Story. Wie so einiges. Auch das Ende ist äußerst Dubios! Irgendwie alles nicht richtig durchdacht und ohne roten Faden...
