If you liked the Hunger Games and Divergent, this might be right up your alley... I loved the world-building, the romantic tensions, the plot, the characters.

The tension and trope was amazing. The plot was compared to that sadly weak and especially the end. Regardless, I can’t wait for the sequel and continue listening right away. Over all I had more hopes for the story itself. The tension between the two main characters is still worth it tho.

I can't say it will make the yop of my list since it lacks a bit of originality, but the story was enjoyable. It doesn't need too much attention. It is easy to follow and come back to. I am interested by the next book. Kind of expecting the originality to kick in there.

This is the first book in an triology. This first book is alright and i liked it. But the second book was really boring, no plot and the banter not interesting anymore. The beginning of the last book was similar, so i did not finish and would not recommend the series.

Good start, but the series is not worth it.
