Würden Sie dieses Hörbuch einem Freund empfehlen? Wenn ja, was würden Sie ihm dazu sagen?

This was my first Albert Campion Mystery and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It has all the elements of a classic english crime story and if you love that kind of thing, you're in for a treat.

Welche drei Worte charakterisieren Ihrer Meinung nach am besten die Lesung von David Thorpe?

The only thing which kind of damped my enjoyment of this otherwise excellent reading was the interpretation of the female voices, especially the elderly aunt. It was too over the top and the high pitched voice was getting on my nerves. I really couldn't listen to what "she" was saying and was just hoping she would stop soon. Luckily the aunt hadn't too much stage time.

Loved the Story

This story is very well written and the reader has also done a good job, but at one point you can hear him jawning and start the sentence over again. That should have been edited out, maybe it can still be done. It is quite distracting in an otherwise enthralling audiobook.
