Even though I read every single one of JP Delaneys books, this is the first one I listened to and I must admit, that this was the best decision I could’ve made. The story was so captivating, that I couldn’t stop listening, I don’t want to spoil anything but I was so excited and on edge, my heart was pounding when I listened to the last few chapters in the middle of the night.
The performance by all three voice actors was unbelievably good, I loved every second of it! I was so stunned by the voices, that I wished the story would never end.
This was one of the best audio books I‘ve ever listened to!

I'm not so much a reader of thrillers and certainly not of psychological thrillers, but this one has caught me and it was really fantastic: the plot alone, then the action, the suspense, the art of describing the personalities!
Thank you, J.P. Delaney for having written this master piece! It's even better than "The girl before" and that was already amazing!
Thanks also to the two narrators, who I could listen to for hours and who intonated the personalities very fitting.

Such a great book! Very interesting, suspensfull, good story, well spoken. Just perfect. I liked specially the end that Maddy end up discovering she was a bit psychopath and in order to save her family, she got rid of Miles. Such a hood unexpected end. Thank you for the great book! I loved it.

Great story. I will have to finish the book to know the end. But an annoying back and forth between husband and wife viewpoint and reading of case notes. That breaks the flow of the story and made it hard to listen to it.
