Diana is a force to be reckoned with, brave, brilliant and headstrong and Giles is just a darling, though he hides that under wonderful banter.
I loved how for most of the book, the two of them were a team with a very balanced power dynamic. He trusts her with his secrets without much hesitation which is healthy and refreshing. He doesn’t ever try to hide the truth to protect her which is always such a tiresome motive.
All in all I loved their dynamic and the pace of the plot. It never got boring and I think I listened to this book in just one day. I would definitely recommend it!
The narrator was just okey but you get used to her and then it’s really fine.
