I found this book pretty convincing. Interesting to listen to it in the year 2022. Wouldn’t have minded a closing chapter on the time from 2014-2022. Yet, what came to be is completely plausible from what they write about Putin. Putin lives in another world, and does not really understand the West, Europe, the US. His understanding is seriously flawed, limited and warped.
