90 minutes and everything is over
Once the book gets started (the introduction is REALLY dry) it will not let you go. It is gripping, horrifying and dreadful in a good way for a book but in a bad way for your Angst.
There are a few instances where the escalation steps -in my opinion- do not make sense, mostly in regards to the Russian reaction. But all else is logical step by step buildup.
It is a very good book!

shocking and fascinating
shocking and fascinating how close we are to Armageddon at all times. the style of writing with the ticking clock makes it feel so real

Generally: nteresting, but hard to sit through
It really feels „typically American“ in the way facts are presented - that’s something you either like or dislike. I could not stand her reading voice. It’s monotonous and puts stress in all the wrong places at the same time. Incredibly uncomfortable to listen to.

It's okay to pass time
As another reviewer mentioned it's very American. Facts are represented like no other nation has as developed technology as America. The narrators voice feels like Google translate is reading a book to you.
