Story good, not too Scandinavian. Didn't like the translation, why change meters into feet?
The story is set in Denmark, not Britain, so why did the narrator put on such different British accents? Obviously no one really is mancunian in the book

Starts a bit slow but becomes intrigued when the story unfolds. Nice mix of characters.

What others said as well. The reading in different English accents doesn't help. I don't know what would be a good alternative though...

Haven't read a book this great for years. Really the kind of book you actually stay up late to hear just one more chapter of. Funny, suspenseful, and not vulgar. I find so many adult series actually vulgar, which isn't a problem, but it's nice to have a book that you can actually share with your 16 year old. Great book - I'm buying the second one now. :-)
