The story is easy entertainment - so far, so good. What made it super annoying to listen to was the varying volume of the speaker. You could choose between not hearing some passages or listening at an uncomfortable level. Maybe this is an editing problem, but it makes listening a not very pleasurable experience.

Nice story but the audio quality was poor. The volume was changing constantly which made it hard to listen to.

I loved the Charakters and their stories. Like many other of Jill Mansell’s stories, this one feels like being on Holliday. I felt like being in Goosbrook meeting all the lovely people and having fun.
I absolutely loved the performance of Imogen Church! She gave the story so much live! She spoke so many characters in their own ways and emotions, so they were reckogniseable. I also liked how she performed Mimi’s thoughts and speaking. Great performance!!!

Die Geschichte ist nett und spannend. Die Sprecherin gibt die Geschichte auch gut wieder aber leider wechselt die Lautstärke, in der Sie die Geschichte erzählt, so stark, dass ich permanent entweder nachjustieren muss oder aber Sätze nicht hören kann.

its soo much fun listening to this book, also loved the story..but what it really makes the whole book great truly is the
wonderful way of reading this story form IMOGEN CHURCH!! thanks for that great work. loved every minute and will check other books from the great speaker <3

BEST AUDIO BOOK EVER

Zuerst einmal: die Story un Lottie, Tyler und Seb ist nicht diese ... Sie gehört zu einem anderen Titel von Jill Mansell. Wer also die Storyline von diesem Titel vor dem Kauf wissen will, sollte einmal Google bemühen.

Zu der Sprecherin: abgesehen von der bereits angesprochenen teils schwankenden Lautstärke, fand ich die Sprecherin an einigen Stellen unnatürlich affektiert.
Wenn gerade eine völlig überkandidelte Erwachsene gesprochen wird, mag das passen, wenn es das elfjährige Mädchen ist, eher nicht.
In jedem Fall fand ich bei längeren Dialogen teilweise schwer auszuhalten.
Das ist deswegen total schade, weil die Sprecherin eigentlich eine angenehme Stimme hat!

Please can you do anything about the audio quality? The story is so good, the speaker performs the different voices so well, too, but this constant variation in volume is so tiring ...
