it could have been so good if it was about a quarter shorter and thus less repetitive and on the nose in it's metaphors. the way it is I enjoyed it enough as an audiobook at the side, but as a book I'd probably have given up 2/3 in and skipped to the end just to wrap it up

I enjoyed the story and how entangles famous thinkers, artists, and mythologies, in the world of academia. I just found very off putting the change in the male voice at the end.

I struggle with some of the bad decisions the protagonists make.
Nonetheless, it’s a great story. Exploring what death could be like including all religions. I definitely recommend.
