Different narrators, opinions, attitudes. But some things seem so silly that the whole plot becomes ridiculous.
Plud half of the story could have been crossed out, it's just too long to be exciting. The narrator seems alright for this semigood but doesn't stand out.
There were great ideas but the author couldn't make much of them.
