I read in other reviews that this book is worse than The Ties That Bind. I read this book before starting the aforementioned series and think it is the other way around. The books are by the same author and have a similar style - but where The Ties That Bind leans to gore, violence and brutal sex It Takes A Thief has witty jokes, aristocratic power plays and steam punky wonders.Great story full of heart warming adventures
