When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper, she is determined to find out why it's there. wow ich konnte das Hörbuch kaum weglegen. 1. die Sprecherin ist sehr überzeugend. 2. die storyline ist so packend und endet mit einem wahnsinns twist. ein toller Krimi Thriller, der das Herz zum rasen bringt.

Was hat Ihnen das Hörerlebnis von I See You besonders unterhaltsam gemacht?

I loved "The girl on the train" and instantly fell for "I see you". The setting is similar and connected to the London tube. The idea of the story is simply brilliant. The characters are well developed and likeable. I lived in the story while I listend to it. That says it all, I think.

Was würden Sie an der Handlung ändern, um das Hörbuch für Sie unterhaltsamer zu machen?

Without spoiling your fun I cannt be more specific. However, towards the end of the story there are two turns in the story I simply did not understand. One character made a decision that seems highly unlogical to me. Another found a clou to solve the puzzle and that left me puzzled asking myself, how on earth did she figure that out? I for one do not have an explanation. Seems to me that in the end it was decided the story should come to an end and thing were bend a bit to match that decision. However, that does not alter my overall view that this is good entertainment and a brilliant story.

Hat Ihnen Rachel Atkins an der Geschichte etwas vermittelt, was Sie vielleicht beim Selberlesen gar nicht bemerkt hätten?

Rachel read the story perfectly. Highly recommended. I will search other books that she read and will listen to them only because she read them if they are at all appealing to me.

Hat dieses Hörbuch Sie emotional stark bewegt? Mussten Sie laut z.B. lachen, weinen, zweifeln, etc.?

Throughout the book I felt with and for the characters. Felt connected to them. However, towards the end the events get out of hand and are extremely implausible.

Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?

Overall it is a pageturner, good entertainment. But the brilliant idea of the story deserves a better ending and a more logic one.

War sehr interessant und abgesehen von der etwas nervigen (teils verständlichen) Paranoia von Zoey waren die Charaktere interessant und glaubwürdig. Der Plottwist am Ende hat mir allerdings nicht gefallen obwohl er von aufmerksamen Hörern vllt vorherzusehen war. Schade dass es somit offen ausgeht und der tatsächlich Drahzieher hinter allem iwie net so zum Charakter passt meiner Meinung nach!

Welcome to a world where every man is a potential violent criminal, women extremely vulnerable and the main character a paranoid. I thought i'd downlowded a thriller but it turned out that this is more like a 'creepy' womens novel. There are some good scenes where the author well described the feeling claustrophobia in London's underground. But altogether, the storyline and the end are implausible, the characters flat. There is always this melodramatic "I am a women and caring mother/sister" prevailing mood which is really annoying after a while. Not a book that I would recommend.
