I stumbled over these series when I searched something I could listen in between and for free, now I'm addicted. I have binged the first three books.
Grier is a broken soul and the character development is great. The diverse side characters make a fantastic cast and the house, oh the house I love it! Maybe I have a thing for haunted or talking houses and Woolly has me fangirling.
This series might be as great as Merci Thompson or Jane Yellowrock and if I'm lucky I will find a substitute for Kate Daniels, but not sure yet. I'm dying to know more and continue the book 4 now.

Die Geschichte beginnt gleich mittendrin. Macht es am Anfang etwas schwieriger alle Namen und Geschehnisse zuzuordnen. Wird aber immer besser. Auch liest man nicht oft über Necromancer. Sehr empfehlenswert. Ich fange gleich mit Teil 2 an.

The world building is intriguing, the writing style somewhat juvenile and the romance aspect did not work for me.
