THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER
Penguin presents the audio edition of How to Be Right, read by the author.
The voice of reason in a world that won’t shut up.
Every day, James O’Brien listens to people blaming hard-working immigrants for stealing their jobs while scrounging benefits, and pointing their fingers at the EU and feminists for destroying Britain. But what makes James’s daily LBC show such essential listening – and has made James a standout social media star – is the incisive way he punctures their assumptions and dismantles their arguments live on air, every single morning.
In the bestselling How to Be Right, James provides a hilarious and invigorating guide to talking to people with unchallenged opinions. With chapters on every lightning-rod issue, James shows how people have been fooled into thinking the way they do, and in each case outlines the key questions to ask to reveal fallacies, inconsistencies and double standards.
If you ever get cornered by ardent Brexiteers, Daily Mail disciples or corporate cronies, this book is your conversation survival guide.

Common sense in a time of madness
I am ever surprised at the gulability and blindness of people when confronted with the truth, when that truth exposes their own faults. misconceptions and bias. James explains this better that I ever could. Showing today's leaders for what they really are and how they work. It's just a shame that people have been brainwashed for decades by our politicians and media. Nice one James!

Brilliant analysis of our current time
I 've finished this brilliant book in two Sessions. James is giving us a comprehensive analysis of our current history. What I also liked a lot was his concrete proposals on how dismantle layers. We all have to stand up for our future. It seems that war of opinions is on the horizon and we all have to be well equipped to keep a peaceful and fact based conversation with all our citizens
