Über diesen Titel

The first time I laid eyes on him my heart skipped a beat.

My obsession began the way all obsessions do…with a spark. A small, seemingly insignificant flicker that quickly took root.

He was pure, liquid light. A sunshine boy with a heart of gold.

He turned my world up-side-down. I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t let him out of my sight.

Ever wondered what happens when red flags and green flags collide? If so, you’re about to find out.

Heart is an obsessive, swoony, stalker-y MM romance featuring the biggest green flag in existence, and a broken boy you can’t help falling in love with.

God damn-this book absolutely got me. Connor and Lennon broke my heart in their own very personal ways. At the beginning, you are genuinely confused about why Lennon is so obsessed with Connor, and when you finally find out... whew. That reveal hits hard. This story has so many emotional layers; it is, quite frankly, a masterpiece.

Connor is an incredibly compelling character. Through him, you start seeing life a little differently. He genuinely tries to make the best out of everything and turn every single day into something beautiful. That mindset is more than impressive-it is remarkable. His backstory is heartbreaking, yet it shaped him into such a unique and special character. I found him deeply fascinating.

And Lennon... my heart hurts for him. As mentioned before, at first you do not really understand what is going on with him. But once you do, it becomes painfully clear how much he has been through. He had to endure so much, and he had no real support system to catch him when he fell. Yes, he comes across as a little creepy in the beginning, but he is a major green flag-just someone who has been hurt far too often.

As for the audiobook narrator: Michael Dean is, as always, a natural talent. With him, you know exactly what you are getting. He is one of my all-time favorite narrators, and this book once again proves why he holds a permanent spot in my personal Narrator Hall of Fame.
