Anita Blake raises the dead for a living in St. Louis - and on occasion kills vampires. She is drawn into a series of bizarre vampire murders, while everybody seems to be after her blood, quite literally. Quite entertaining urban fantasy novel, nice passtime for a rainy afternoon, though I must admit it does not reach the humour and pace of other books of this genre.
