I usually adore Sarinas books but this one wasn’t a fave. Neither the characters nor the story did it for me… Nash calling Livia Pussycat did not help - Ew! What also didn’t help was Tim Page’s narration. Mind you, I am very picky when it comes to male narrations, but I just cannot stand his female voice. It makes these strong women sound fake and like mousy, submissive little girls, when their voices are literally described as deep and husky. And in this case his male voice didn’t suit the MMC either IMO. Samantha did a fabulous job as always. She pretty much carried the book but couldn’t save it for me.
