gearbreakers was a story about a war that had to be fought, violence that needed to be relished in to be bearable.
Godkillers is a story about the cost of that. the price of war and love, what it means to know your enemy. to forgive, to hold tight. to feel.
it's an introspective tale about the horrors of inherited wars and conflicts, and what it needs to break the cycle.
violence, yes, but this will never be the end of it.

Jenny is a character that gets even more important. She's closer in this book. And she's a genius but scary. Still there's this wonderful found family of kids who started a revolution and need to end it own way or the other. And one way is being a corpse.
The missing star is because I couldn't always follow what exactly was happening and where, but some happenings left me baffled and crying. I'm still hurting for everyone of them.
There's even room for a next book in the series maybe? The end leaves a question. I would definitely be on board to meet Eris and crew again.
The voice actors were both very good, but I still wished they were a little better to tell apart.
