In chapter one you have to listen to over an hour (!!) of just listings of different class stats nearly none of relevance for the story progression. If your fetish is listening to game stats, go ahead. I had the hopes this was only an issue with the first chapter and jumped ahead.... but no. I think the author is more in love with the game mechanics and stats than writing an engaging storyline. This book is bloated by those stats at least by 30%.
I will return this audiobook. So far it was as fun as listening to someone reading an Excel sheet.

Boring - too many stats and no story

Der MC ist ein vermeintlicher Solo ProGamer, stellt sich aber eher unterdurchschnittlich an. Er legt los ohne sich ein paar Minuten zu nehmen, damit er sich mit dem System vertraut machen kann. Was immer wieder zu kurzen Unterbrechungen führt, damit er mitten im Kampf seine Skills lesen kann.
Unnötige Dia- und Monologe.
Was zu einem Wechsel zwischen Soaptrashtalk und ernst fokussierten Gesprächen führt. Wobei der fokussierte Teil sehr knapp ausfällt.
Außerdem will er allen helfen und könnte dies auch mit Erklärungen umsetzen, doch dies drückt er lieber an eine Freundin ab, die kaum Ahnung hat.. Damit dann im nächsten Absatz wieder Trashtalk und die Kurven einer Frau folgen. Warum schreibt man sowas? Enttäuschend. Hatte auf eine Qualität wie bei Defiance of the Fall gehofft..

Das erst Kapitel geht über ne Stunde und alles was Passiert ist das der Protagonist sich die Klassen durchliest. So setzt sich das dann auch fort.
