I really liked the story of Amber! Being cursed or gifted is a real struggle. The built up was really good and the characters where amazing! Just the ending for me was a little to short ... I would have liked a chapter more after everthing had happend.

Great fantasy standalone

why is this a standalone book? Everything points to a series. There's a ton of loose ends.
Story is okay, pretty typical teenage romance.
Narrator also okay. I only found her voice for the five year old girl quite annoying. She sounds like a whiny two year old.
