Gefallen hat mir die Darstellung eines Alltags inmitten des Klimawandels. Dies war Stärke und Schwäche des Buches zugleich. Stärke, da es skurrile Szenarios skizziert hat wie der künftige Alltag inmitten bevorstehender Umweltkatastrophen. Schwäche weil das alltägliche Geschehene wenig Spannung bot. Gern hätte ich auch mehr lustige und skurrile Szenen gelesen. Davon gab es auch einige im Buch, aber weitaus weniger als erwartet.

Das Vergegenwärtigen der Klimakrise und mögliche Szenarios wie unsere unmittelbare Zukunft aussehen könnte.

I loved it! Good story, great narrator, fun to listen to despite the topic. I can highly recommend it.

Great Audiobook

The story is a snapshot into a family‘s life and their battle with the consequences of climate change. Entertaining and well written but not my favourite T.C. Boyle book. Alyssa Bresnahan is a wonderful narrator and I hope I‘ll hear her again.
