This was a little darker than a typical Ruby Dixon book, but the lovers came together so well and deserved their HEA! The performance enhanced the reading experience. I think I might have felt a bit bored at parts of I was reading the physical book. Plus, the ending dragged a little, so it was good that the voice actors were very entertaining. If you like an enemies-to-lovers trope, this is close (though he was never her enemy, just from her side really) and will probably satisfy your desires.
