Simply the best.
This book is simply the best on selling your artwork that I have read and used. It changes the perspective of the artist from a poor hungry idealist doing odd jobs in order to survive or an eight to fiver making one a weekend artist into a prosperous businessman or woman without scaling away the idealism and love of art for its own sake, and arts contribution to a better life for artists, collectors and museum goers. The advice is totally practical no matter what kind of art you produce and virtually helps to avoid many time consuming and costly mistakes in making a living doing artwork.
Here is tried and true, down to earth, honest advice based on years of experience that not only explains how the real art market works, but this book also makes it clear that an artist can make himself independent of it. Not only solid advice as to how this can be realized, but concrete and realistic steps setting your own individual goals and how to organize yourself and do the sales and keep them up are understandably explained .
Pitfalls, from what to avoid in dealing with clients up to how to arrange exhibitions on your own and using social media are presented as insider information. ART, MONEY AND SUCESS gives you license to get going in any way you want to go. Guidelines relating to the psychology of and identifying an art buyer, an non-buyer (tire kicker) and people who are interested but don't have walls or money for artwork and how you can relate to them profitably is explained without any aggressive sales tactics. The tenor of this book is win/win.
Incentive for copyrighting, licensing and the how of it, providing a gradual steady and growing income and what is important in making contracts so as not to be taken advantage of are also topics which are made transparent.
This book is riddled with competence.

This is the artist bible!
