Lucy and Tristan are such an unlikely couple but are so very right for another!

Love this series!

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.
Vom ersten Buch der Reihe war ich gar nicht begeistert! Hauptsächlich weil ich beide Hauptfiguren total unsympathisch fand. Aber der Schreibstil der Autorin gefiel mir sehr, also hab ich mich noch an den zweiten Band gewagt. Gott sei Dank! Ich hätte eines meiner liebsten Bücher ever versäumt.
Lucy war schlau und besaß dieses mal tatsächlich Kampfgeist, im Gegensatz zu Annabelle, und die Suffragetten Bewegung hat dieses mal auch endlich eine Rolle gespielt und sich nicht wie eine Fußnote angefühlt.
Tristan war ein warmherziger Mann und kein Eisblock.
Die Romanze ist hier ein "slow-burn", aber genau so mag ich es. Die beiden müssen erst vertrauen fassen, bevor sie sich anschmachten. Umso schöner wenn sie sich dann tatsächlich verlieben.
Ich bin schwer begeistert und es wird eines der ganz wenigen und besonderen Hörbücher sein die auf meinem Smartphone verbleiben dürfen - immer
