I think this one has or had potential of beeing one of my fav. Books from derek landy.
The only thing that was a bit annoying was a certain cringy moment in the book where for some reason and really without any relevance to the plot the main characters sexuality was mentioned and it was really made obvious that it is in there for making sure its mentioned. It didnt have anything important to do with the plot. Dont know it really cringed the hell out of me. Also I am not sure how magical gender swapping is important to the plot BUT other then that I think this one is a solid 8/10 and already way better then the mess that was phase 2.
Always happy to see more of the world of Skullduggery Pleasant, especially the antagonist and the chase scenes and killings were interesting and thrilling to listen to!

Lovely written and honestly one of dereks better books.
