The story just comes short here, I needed to breaks the audio book as I really had issues to get into the story and forgot to listen to it after a while.
The reading sounds like AI, I need more emotions in an audiobook.

tory and reader is good.. but only when played at at least 1.6 to 2.6 otherwise not bearable.
all in all is his side mire mature and a game of fate shows good insides in his thinking and we get some backinfos of a touch of darkness

The story was good, it was interesting to see Hades’ POV as well.
But I did not like the narration, it felt a bit too robotic.

I liked that book. It gave a new light to the story. It showed a different side of Hades and I enjoyed it. I could not put the book down and finished it quickly.
It is spicy. And it is labeled so, but the constant reminder how horny Hades is, and how much he want Persephone took a bit of the excitement of the first book away.
Nevertheless I loved the story, and I will read the other books, especially because I loved all the myths combined in theses books and can't wait which myths will hide in the others.

Reader was not as strong as the story

I liked the book as it expanded on the universe, showed everything that Persephone missed or was not aware of, plus it gave us an insight into Hades, which I really liked. The narration is... not the best, especially compared to the first book, it was quite a shock. But the storyline and the different perspective, the bigger universe, meeting other gods - it outweighs it. I recommend a read through and urge you to be patient with the narration ☺️☺️

One of my favorite series

This is basically the first book of the series, but from Hades‘ point of view. The plot around Sisiphys feels forced. It feels like the author is throwing around half knowledge about Greek mythology without concern for the actual history. Really not worth anyone’s while…

Why even bother?

Incredibly tedious with an inflationary use of the word "fuck" in all variations. Combined with the highly irritating reading voice, I had no desire to finish this book and will remove other books by this author that I haven't read yet. Life's too short.
